Striped Ebony Vertex

This is my first Vertex pen. The click action is very smooth. I like it a lot. The single barrel design is easy to make. Made this one with Striped Ebony and finished with CA/BLO. Critiques on photography also welcome. Thanks for looking.

I agree Vertex is an interesting but challenging kit, your pen displays great care to attention and detail. It is as well to take more than one pic as the 2nd one shows the pen in more detail. I have problems with pics of dark pens, never made the change properly to digital from film myself.

This form of Ebony can be flat however your piece has life and interest creating a worthwhile result to be proud of. Interesting slice of Thunderegg as we call it to place the pen on. Have fun by choosing neutral props as sometimes they take over and dominate the pen.
