This is my first two piece stone pen---yup it's twice as much work.
I really need to stop making these they take a huge amount of time.
Real stone---not man made------bands are real Ivory
Kit is a Jr Statesman

I noticed that Steve ------I am going to buy a better tripod this week.
I did make a stand that goes with the pen----I will try to take a better pic of the pair.
It will be a day or two---still waiting on the finish to dry on the stand.

Lovely looking, it looks a lot like petrified wood, what sort of stone is it really?

Steve ---right now I don't see this being a line that I will carry---there is just way to much time involed in making one pen. Plus the mess that I make turning/drilling stone is a real job to clean up.
I have sold two of them so that helps offset the start-up cost somewhat. I spent a bunch of money on Diamond tools.
I am going to make 5 more stone pens and I think that will be the end of it.
