I noticed my inventory was heavily favoring Fountain Pens, so I decided to try some new (for me) ball point kits as well as add some tried and true Rollerballs.

The two Princess pens were a customer order, but they fit right in with what I was working on...

Very Nice Pens!!
What can you tell me about the "feathered" blank? Is that blank available to purchase?
Thanks for showing!

Jaeger,
That one is Italian Marbled Paper cast in Alumilite by Mark Koster (Mark50). Mark does an amazing job on these and there's nothing else like them. The whole story on how Marbled Paper is made is really interesting. If you search YouTube with Italian Marbled Paper, you will run across a video showing how its made in Florence. I recommend checking it out.

Italian Marbled blank

That "feathered" Italian Marbled paper blank turned out beautifully Eric! It was worth the work that went into getting it done right for you! Thank you for the props:)

Mark,
Thanks, but its your work that made it possible. I damaged the blue/gray splochy one you made for me during assembly, so decided I needed to put this last one away for a bit, until my skills improved a little more.

I'm so glad I dug it back out, they really are outstanding blanks. Are you still doing them?

Wow you have been very busy. All of them look great! It would be hard to choose just one out of that bunch...

It was a busy weekend. In addition I had two other abortive efforts, a major blowout on a Majestic and a brain fade, drilling the blanks the wrong size on a Emperor. Now, if I hadn't been driven to complete so many pens I might have avoided those issues.

Stop... breathe... relax... put on some good music and enjoy the process.
