I am still learning as I go and from reading the post found here! Also, thanks for the tutorials! The finishing process is a challenge that I can't seem to get the hang of..

Nice Pens, very cool combinations. I found out when I started turning pens, finishing them was the most FRUSTRATING part of pen making. Lots of pens were ruined because I just couldn't find the right finish. I tried everything from spray laquer, to dipping in polyurethane, to friction polish, to CA Glue.

AFter all that, I have to say the finish that I am most pleased with and quickly gives a durable finish is the Stick Fast Finish System by WoodCraft. I am VERY impressed with that finish system.
