You have been making and posting some great pens with great finish lately.

Being from India, the grain and color reminds me strongly of padauk. The padauk that I turn is usually a little more orange when freshly turned, but different areas of the Indian/Pacific region have slightly different colors and brightness. I will leave the identification open to others because the grain is a little thicker between rings than I am used to seeing.

Beautiful!

I love using "found wood" like that and seeing the beauty of it emerge as I turn and polish it.
