Steps 1 and 2 of Project Roman harvest

So here is the other roman harvest i made, it is a rollerball. It was the red mallee burl i got from my first order from timberbits. Probably like 10 coats thin and 5-7 coats medium on the rollerball. 20 coats thin on fountain. Also the end cap i epoxied in because i could pull it out with my hand. Also the nib connector thing on the other side.the part with the female threads, was SUPER hard to push in! i bent my stick on it trying to get it in! And no there wasnt any glue or anything in the tube. Anyone else have this problem? These are my best pens so far. What do you guys think?
