Steampunked Jack

I made this pen with the lid from a Jack Daniels bottle, Embossed Aluminum Foil Tape And Armor Plates

it came up pretty good, one tiny bubble which was on the bottom side on the blank when it was in the mold, lets call it added character

The bottle cap sits above the tube deliberately to give a better 3D effect

Photos are from before and during casting, as well as the end result

this pen is already SOLD!!!!

Nice work on those blanks. 'Tis a shame the bubble isn't offset to the right a bit so it aligned with the A in "BRAND" -- it would look more like a design feature.

Looks really good. Can see why it is already sold. There might be a whole line of blanks if you can get a friendly bar keep to save caps from various brands.
