Another from the Ohio meeting. This blank was one of Mark James' steampunk castings. I think he did a great job making the blank. All those who got one will be happy. Thanks Mark.

Jason... I've got a bucket load of Spalted/Ambrosia Maple with great lines from my brothers yard in Willoughby. Could make LOTS of blanks! FREE!!!

Sounds great. Sounds like I am gonna need some more resin. Curtis is gonna love that. I almost bought some spalted maple on eBay. I'll stabilize as many as you would like in return.

good choice on the pen kit to match the blank. but still not sure why people calling those types of blanks "steampunk"?

I think it's simply the style. Like "Goth". I've read "Boilerplate" also.

"Foil and Dye" doesn't haven't much ring. :tongue:
