Decided to play around with a Steampunk concept. What do you think? Please excuse the photography, it's just a cell snap.

Conversation Starter

Well it might make a good desk conversation starter - Looks like it might have been a lot of fun to make, doesn't look like it would see much use as a writer. I am assuming you want an honest opinion.

Not my cup of tea but I give you credit for thinking outside the box. If you like it, that is all that counts. Good luck on the next one.

I applaud your efforts! Have you seen SI90's Steampunk pens? They are over the top beautiful:

Looking again, I think your pen could benefit from something like an antique brass, antique or matte copper or antique bronze tip. In my eye, the tip just looks too sleek and modern and factory made for the rest of the pen. Still looks like it was fun to make and interesting to look at.

Interesting Pen Cory.
Certainly thinking outside the square.
As has already been said, a good talking pen.
From what I can see, looks like you have done a great job of soldering, I cannot see any solder.
