heres a couple i made this weekend ,first step towards kitless ,at moment cant drill acuratly on lathe as cant get it set up fine enough to drill the nib new small lathe on its way so heres hoping its better then i can take the next step. CRW_4397  streamline in burgandy acrylic 1.jpg

Coming from Lancaster, you must be buddies with Andy

Here's a tip for you;
When you make the metal bits ( even on a metal lathe ) drill your required holes down the middle of the metal before you even start to shape the outside. This way you can even drill them on a drillpress. Of course you then just use these holes to turn between centres. So it doesn't really matter how far your lathe is out. I did it that way on a pipe lathe that can be as far as an inch out, before I got my metal lathe!!!:biggrin:
