Black (Fancy) Slimline kit on a Curly Maple Blank. Finished with BLO/CA directions. Probably not my best work. But it is my first work. I know, I know... for all the trouble... look's like a Slimline!!!
Great Job. Much better than my first. Curly Maple is nice and looks good with color too. Try a little rit dye in denatured alcohol on a sanded pen. Then polish with EEE Cream before your finish and assemble. It will look transparent with color.
Nutting wrong with that. Pretty piece of wood and nice finish...
I would buy some of the Anelli Twist from Wood N Whimsies if you want something a little thicker.... http://www.woodnwhimsies.com/proline.html
And at $2.25 a piece a great bargain and good folks to deal with....
