Started as a Flat Top

I tossed the plastic nib holder and its decorative ring, tossed most of the center band, and tossed the filial. Other than that, the kit is complete.
Blank is amboyna burl from Lee Tree.

Yea, I like the modifications as well. The smaller center band doesn't distract from the wood. Very nice indeed! []

Gary, when you say burl clip, do you mean to make a clip out of the same wood? Tricky, that.
