My youngest daughter Amber is by far the most artistic of my children. So, I thought it would be cool to make her one of these artist's sketch pencils for Christmas. This is a 5 color Acrylic Herringbone pattern with CA finish on a 24K kit. This was my first time doing the HBone in Acrylic. It wasn't too shabby.

A special thanks to Kruzzer for running this stuff through his sander for me.

Thanks for lookin'. By all means, I welcome your comments. :alien:

There you go again, making my head hurt trying to figure out how you do the herringbone pattern

The pen looks great Steve. I'm sure Amber will be thrilled with it.

Dang man, can nothing be simple?! Great looking pen. I don't know that I've seen herringbone done in all acrylic before. Very cool.

That is a very nice pen.

I have made 2 of those kits so far and they went to my daughter and her fiance. His was cocobolo, and hers was curly Koa. I need to make more.
