Billy, I don't much care for the Executive kit (personal preference) but that blank is gorgeous[:0] Your fit and finish appear to be exceptional as well. Keep up the good work

Thanks, guys! Shane, it really isn't as fat as it appears. This is the 2nd photo I've taken w/my new camera that has done this. It is only 3/32" bigger than the largest portion of the nib assembly. [?] In fact, it's no bigger than some of my modified SLs. [:D]

That looks an awful lot like some spalted pecan that I have.
I have to agree that the blank is a beaut, I'm just not yet sold on that kit.

Thanks, all. This isn't my favorite kit either, but I like it much better than the Americana. I'm getting ready to order some of the new Sierras in hopes that they sell better. [:I] These sell... eventually.
