Default Stabilized Burlap Baby, first of litter

This little baby was born of humble origins this morning - burlap was Cactus Juice-vacuum-stabilized, coated with pigment and metal flakes, cured, cut into strips, pressure cast at 50 psi, etc. - more detail in this thread:
Cactus Juice Stabilized Burlap Blanks

Minimal burlap in this one - but it is the runt of the litter:

Best regards, Bob
(humbly grateful to US troops, then and now, this Memorial weekend and always)

Bob,
Very cool effects with your casting efforts! We are all seeing something new each time you post! I like the nib end best with the red/gold colors!

Does birthing these pens make you a mid wife?

Thanks, Charlie - you pose a fine question re: midwifery - based on the coarse nature of this litter, it's more like animal husbandry.

First trio of the burlap litter - others still gestating:

(The readers are aware that elephants gestate an average of 21 months - so the other littermates may also procrastinate)

Happy Sunday - Bob
