Here is an oak european. Finish is BLO/Mylands/Renessance

I did some more turning this weekend. Here are my recent ones:

Green acrylic with gold fittings:

Desert Sunset acrylic with pearl white fittings:

Bocote with brushed nickel fittings
(BLO/Renesance finish):

Iron wood (from Arizona) with gold fittings
(Mylands/Tung oil/TSW finish):

Hmmmmm... it would appear that you've solved any Shopsmith alignment problem you might have had. I noticed, too, that my alignment is effected by tightening the "head-slide-thingy". But, so far so good...
