Splayed maple first

Hello, been around awhile now but never posted any of my work as I really did not feel worthy with all of the great artists here. Well I finally have one that I think made the cut!

Here is a salted maple on a Sierra (I think that is the kit....) the blank was stabilized by another member here as a favor and I have many left so there will be lots more fun to be had.

If I may suggest, you might want to photo this one against something other then a piece if wood. It gets difficult to see well.
