It has been weeks since I have been able to get back into the shop. Finally got all the branches and tress cut up that fell because of the ice storm, started getting the garden ready for planting and a quick knee surgery to clean up some old damage. Here is what I was able to make...

Spartan pen kit in gun metal, the wood from left to right is: Cocobolo, Sapelle, Osage Orange, Padauk, and a second Cocobolo.

Nice solid kits, very comfortable. Comments always welcome.

Thanks for looking,
Erik

Nice Work, Eric, both in the Garden, and Workshop.
Good to see you up and at 'em, no problems with the knee now?
Excellent Choice of Blanks, and Spartans.
Your fit and Finish is Excellent.
You won't have any trouble getting rid of them.
Congratulations.
Brian.

Thanks for the comments! I had the stitches taken out of the knee yesterday and all is good again. The weather is beautiful, so the garden is doing well...The Masters Golf tournament is next week here in Augusta, so I have a great excuse to take the week off from work and relax and get back into the workshop to play a bit.

Life is great!

Nice pens. I like the different colors. Are those rubber rings around the bottom?
