Sparse Cactus

At the last show I sold my personal cactus Jr. Gents rollerball that I used for the last 3-4 months.The customer insisted and who am I to refuse..I had cast some cactus a while back that was sparse and had only turned one pen from that casting. I wanted a sliver pen so I used one of those blanks. Painted the tubes and the inside with Hammered silver rustoleum and used a chrome Baron.

Nice pen, Roy! Kind of reminds me of an old-timey map of the earth, oceans, etc. Might just be incorrect color transfer on my monitor. Sure is a good job, though!

Very nice use of material. I have wondered about using that paint for cactus and I really like it. Ditto the map look.

Roy that's why I leave my pen at home and just carry a nice pen at shows. I still get the sale but they don't get MY pen.
