Spalted X-Cut Maple

This is a some cross cut spalted maple that I got from Louis Bryant (louisbry). Some of you old timers will remember him.

Nice work on this pen, including the use of black hardware to emphasize the dark spalt lines.

I do remember Louisbry. In fact I have some spalted, cross-cut Hackberry that I got from him. (Need to get a pen on my sales table with that beautiful wood.)
