Spalted ??? Thanks Verne!

Here is a Jr Gent from a great piece of spalted wood I got from Verne...Old Wrangler (George) thought it was too punky! I think he is too Punky!
Again my pictures suck but The pen turned out great thanks again Verne and looking forward to our next get together....

Seriously, that is a beautiful pen, looks like it was fun to turn!!, I've been trying to find some spalted maple around my place but no one is cutting any maple, I can always spalt it.

Verne's wood was great. It was you that I referred to as punky. I want to see this pen when I come by later today, it looks awesome. Good job.

Talking punky, this blank stayed submerged in Min Wax Wood Hardner for 2 days. Then 2 days of drying and a turn with scary sharp tools. This wood is really coming apart.
