Hi All,

Was looking through my off cuts, and came across this spalted Cross Cut elm Piece. It was very dry, and I thought it would blow out when I put it on the lathe. A corner split of when I turned it on the barrel trimmer.

However, It turned out pretty good.

Also finished a Spalted beech fountain. Fit on th lid aint bad, but it still could be better. ( Still waiting for the micrometer to come Mark)

kenny, nice work. i'm curious how you liked that 'classic' gel roller? i've done only one of them and i had a few issues with it... not the kit, my own ineptitude... [:p]

edit in... i now see that it's a fountain... it looks just like the gel kit!

Thanks everyone,

Andrew - I think the basic kit is the same just a different nib end. It is a nice change to the classic fountain that I have been doing. It is around 2cm's shorter also.
