Spalted Oak Burl Emperor

Hey guys and gals,

This is an Emperor I've been working on for a couple days. It is dressed with some spalted oak burl from Rodney. Overall, through all the work I put in to it, I think it paid off! What do you think?

I have a question. This pen was my second attempt at a poly finish, and in all likelihood I am going to go back to CA. Just wondering though, it seems like the finish has little dimples in it. Does anyone know the cause of that? Thanks.
