Here is another pen made from the spalted figured Oak that Rich is selling. This one is for a nurse at a cardiac rehab center who saw the last one I made for her patient. This wood really sells itself.

Nice looking pen, Jim. Great looking finish!

Rich who? I've got to add some of that to my collection of blanks! Thanks

Really nice pen Jim!! Very nice finish. I think that is one of the best features of this spalted oak, it is easy to finish. It has the color differences, but no soft or porous spots. Great work!

I appreciate everyone's comments. I didn't do anything special for this pen. The wood does it all for me. It sold for $51.95. The finish is CA, Mylands Friction Polish and TSW. Rich is low_48. He signed above as Rich Who. [:)]

Jim, glad someone appreciated my humor! Opfoto asked the question at the end of his post "Rich who?" and that made me smile, so I shall be know from this day forward as "Rich Who". Our shall I be called "T-Bone" (Seinfeld reference), or "Max Power", "I got that from a hair dryer", (Simpsons reference), or maybe I should get away from the lacquer for a little while.[8D][8D]
