Spalted Maple Sedona

This was my first attempt at a pen with a seperate cap. I learned alot. The blank is spalted Maple from Nolan w/ CA/BLO finish. I made 4 sets of blanks to be sure that I got it right. I ran into problems on the assembly end. I pushed the two threaded couplers in too far and had to pull them back out and I realized after I took the photo that I had not pushed the coupler that holds the center band in quite all the way. That is fixed now. You can see where the finish came off the threads. I understand this will happen over time anyway so I'm not concerned about it.

You can hide the thread wear with a black sharpie marker. Otherwise, it is a nice pen.
