spalted maple burl

Hi I made this tonight. IT is spalted maple burl. I love to hear both positive and negatives so that I can learn. The kit is the berea 7mm corinthian band.

I've made a couple of slimlines that are large like that and people really like them.

Try writing with the pen for a while and see how it feels in the hand. I am not fond of the shape because it does not feel comfortable in my hand unless I am holding it near its largest diameter.
