Spalted Maple

Turned a spalted maple Wall Street II tonight, the cigar was my first cigar effort and the wife had grabbed it for her carrying pen, told her I needed to grab it for a quick photo.

Very nice pens. Can you tell me what you used to finish the pens. I just got hold of a 4 foot piece of 4/4 spalted maple and would like to know the best way to finish it like yours

I used 2 coats of thin CA covered by 2 coats of medium CA. MM From 4000-12000 after each coat of CA. Might have been overkill but I think they turned out allright.
