This blank was included in a box of several blanks, given to me by my Daughter and Son in Law, shortly after I started turning pens. The hardware is a Berea Hybrid Cigar in Black TG and Platinum. As always, C & C appreciated.

That's a mighty good looking pen Joe, I think paired the right components up with that blank.

Some nice looking timber! You might want to find out if they'll 'gift' you some more:biggrin: Fit-n-finish look top-notch too!!!!

Very nice pen. Does anyone know if once the mango wood is dried, will you still get an allergic reaction to it. I'm allergic to the sap of the mango tree, it's a relative of poison ivy, and I just received a mango blank from the super bowl pool. Should I try turning it or give it away?

Poison Ivy? NOW YA TELL ME!!:biggrin::biggrin: I can't say I am "overly" alergic to poison ivy, but I had NO reaction to this at all. I'm not a Dr. but if you like it, I think it would be worth a try. (assuming of course, you were rooting for the right team :eek::biggrin:)
