Spalted "Fly Apart" Hackberry

The third try was the charm. The other two flew apart. This used almost 1/4 bottle CA. I earned this one. Padre, this is how it looks and somes coming your way. I always test a new pen on the Sunday Crossword. This was a smart pen.

Nice job! I just posted about my spalted pecan pen, my first attempt using spalted wood. I blew up the lower blank trimming it, so I used black acrylic instead. I was amazed at how much CA I went through. Now I know why they sell the huge bottles!

I'm pretty encouraged to try another pretty soon.
