Spalted crab apple cigar

Finally got around to using some more of the wood I got from my BIL last summer (08) when we visited them. This came from some crotch pieces out of a tree that had been cut down years ago and just left out behind the shed. A little spalting and a few soft spots but thin CA soaked right in and fixed them. Ti gold cigar and free wood.

What does the '72 represent?

Just the pen number, I supply a small envelope of business size cards containing a business card that has a photo of the pen, a gift card, one with info about the pen and wood, and one with info about pens for Canadian peacekeepers. Helps me find the right envelope.
