Turned this up for a lady at work. She is giving as a b-day present to her sister after I get it engraved.
It is a Chrome Cigar with Spated Alder.
What do you guys think?

Very nice! It kind of looks like a map drawing on the bottom part... I always have some trouble with the cigar pens at the top of the bottom part, so the part of the bottom part of the pen that is towards the middle (everyone following along with me here? anyone lost?), and turning that down to the right point, but yours looks perfect!

What kind of engraving are you having done on it? It almost looks to me like engraving would take away from it, when you have such nice wood that is far from plain and has lots to look at.

The engraveing that I'm going to have done is just going to be the girls name lazer engraved. Personally I think it may add to a portion that is lacking. While the bottom has the nice spalted effect the top doesn't have it, and although I think it still looks good, I think it need something. The engraving may just be the ticket. IMO
