From the Maple I got at the sawmill a while back.
This is from a few blanks I cut on a slightly different bias than the last ones. It's amazing what a few degrees difference makes.
Sealer, Behlens Turners Polish and TSW.
Thanks for taking the time to look. Critques welcome, as always.
Ken

Thanks a lot, guys,
This is not the best place to ask this, but I've noticed, at least on my computer, that there is a difference in how pics display on different sites. For example, I posted this pen, same photo, on one other site. Look at http://www.bt3central.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19923 and this thread in two browser sessions, compare the images side-by-side. The image quality 'seems' much better on BT3Central. Does this make any sense?[?]

Edit: Ah, I just found that the file size on BT3 is the same as the original, 43k, and the file size here is 9.5k. So, Snitz here is compressing the image sizes???

Ken, sweet looking pen. The angle cut really makes a difference, in how the wood stands out. Very impressive and is a piece you want to look at more and more to see what shapes/figures are in the grain.
