The ironwood was reddish. Maybe just that piece. I gave it 4 coats of CA, sanded to 600, waited 24 hours (for no reason) and gave it 4 more and MM'ed thru 12,000 and finished with that plastic polish from Woodcraft. The CA did bring out the color a little plus it may be picking up color from the vivid red couch cushon in the background. The flaw I see is that it no longer looks natural. It's too shinny and plastic looking. Next time I'll go with oil & wax.
