Well, I asked my son today if he would like to make himself a pen. Surprisingly he said Yes! He hasn't really shown interest in the woodworking stuff.

So, we went and picked out his blank. He picked a blank I poured yesterday. It is Antique Silver and 24 Kt Gold Mica powders using some new techniques of casting for me. I asked him what style of kit he would like. A pen, rollerball or capped pen. He asked if I had a click pen. I remembered I had a click pen purchased a while ago from CSUSA.

He turned and finished it all with me just there to help and guide him along.

Don't think he did too bad!!

Cool! I remember you telling me he wasn't into the turning thing. Maybe the bug will bite and yall can have some quality time in the shop now. btw...NICE pour :highfive:, wonder where you found that new technique

I'm anxious to see how those "special" blanks you made while here will look once turned. I made one of mine already...gotta keep up now
