And in my opinion black in a pen is. Cholla cactus filled with black PR on a Jr. Statesman rhodium alloy and black titanium plating. All comments welcome, sorry for the dust, just took a quick shot.

Roy,
I like your cholla cactus pens. I've been making a few of those using epoxy and pearl ex powder. Casting them should be much much quicker. They are quite interesting, get a lot of attention and don't stay around long. Those are the kinds we like...made today and gone tomorrow. Thanks for showing them and the ones a day or two ago.
Do a good turn daily!
Don

Beautiful job Roy! I really liked it when you have the pieces of cactus with you at shows so that the customer gets a chance to see the natural "canvas" that you did your
art on. Thanks for showing. Doc

Darn sharp, sitting under lights at a show I bet it gathers a few fingerprints of admirers.

It looks like a flat finish on it, don't see the tell tale sheen of CA. Is that just an effect of the circumstances of the photo or did you intentionally get it that way?
