Had never turned Lapis before last night and spent more time on the grinder sharping than turning but the end results were IMHO well worth it.Emperor in 22K gold and rhodium. Spent over an hr just turning and sharpening.

The pens look good Roy, but you need to work on your photos.[;)] They sort of look like closeups of people's faces taken with a wideangle lens(makes the nose look as big as a watermelon. It looks like you're shooting straight down at the pens, in which case you need the thing to prop up the cap end. Try laying them flat and you'll get much better photos.
