These are two dyed box elder burls from a blank I received as a gift from Garyr78 on a Le Roi Elegant Royale (I got it right this time, Smitty!). Finished with one coat of CA, sanded to 800, then wood plus finish.
The second one is 1/8" shorter than the the first. I found, from the way I am turning them, that the 1/8" shorter allows what I consider the right amount of refill to extend. I'll post another with the same reduction in length.
