Here are a few things that I have been working on for the upcoming holidays.
Hopefully it will be a good Christmas season. not sure what type of wood the dark brown one is? Was hoping someone might know.

Those are some crazy shaped.....perfume applicators? As far as the wood...and I am by no means an expert...it reminds me of some dyed maple burls I have turned.

Not sure about the dark one .. looks like something cast in resin. Banksia perhaps?
Pine cone?

Nice selection.. I see some stocking stuffers there..

I would have guessed the wood was a redwood burl, but the usual disclaimers apply.

I really like the blue one segmented with aluminum.

Thanks Guys, I received the dark wood as a freebie from someone. Problem is i have a memory like ten second tom, So of course i can't remember where I got it from. All I know is that I really like it and would like to get some more, but I guess i'll have to wait and see if I can come across something like it again. I'm going to try some of the suggestions, hopefully i'll get lucky.

Barry the aluminum was an accident, that pen blew up on me four times, each time I cut left over pieces and segmented it together. I think some of my best pens have come about of an accident and a little creative thinking.
