Ten days off having my son and grandson to stay, and as nice as it was it's good to get back to the workshop!!
Black and white acrylic with a Jowo medium nib.
C&C's welcome.
Cheers

That pen should certainly attract some attention. The style, fit and finish are all on the money! Outstanding job!

Looks great. I like the front section. I've been wrestling with getting the Meisternibs #6 housing steps cut just right.... I don't like making the front sections at the best of times and these steps don't help.

I like the exposed ring of the clip as well.

Very well done!!!! The cap actually looks to be the perfect length for the body.

Did you pour this one?

Scott

Thanks Scott.
I wish I had poured this one!! At present I only use my own pours on kit pens due to the threading issues I have on PR. I'm hoping to get some Polyurethane resin sometime soon, but triple start taps and dies and #6 feed housing taps are a bit higher up the shopping list!

John, The first thought that popped in to my mind was WOWWWW !!!!!
That pen is striking and has a classic shape/profile. You did a great job with the front section profile that really flows with the pen. You carried the classic look even further with the exposed clip and the conical ends of the pen. That is definitely retro!! Great job! Doc :)

I'm humbled by all the positive comments, and they are all greatly appreciated!
When John put Holy Cow, I thought hmm, good name for the pen, but then that could offend some!!
I like Doc's Retro, so retro it is.
I now need to take all dimensions and record them for future pens!
Once again, thank you all.
Regards
John
