Some of this and a Stellar Cast

Well I had several projects that I've been working on and here's two of them.


Not exactly pens, but something I've been planning. A Cocobolo Chess set.

And one of Karl's Stellar Cast Blanks wrapped around a Chrome Baron Fountain Pen. Hard to see in the pic, but I didn't paint the tubes and used GG so it looks like waves in the "lava".

Hmmm, interesting idea with the texture of the poly glue foam showing through the resin! I might have to play with that a bit! Anyone ever tried adding a little dye to Gorilla glue?

Nice work there Mike. I like the chess set! Do you have the board made yet? What wood are you going to use for the opposing side?
