First 5 Left to right are all prize blanks Rebecca won from the bash.

The 6th one is Koa that was sent from a new IAP friend in California sent. I hope to get a package in the mail to you soon!

Last one on right is a blank she just received from George's Bits of Timber today...it is macrocarpa Birdseye stabilized blue and she couldn't wait to turn it!

The pen laying down is from a Bocote blank she purchased from Woodcraft.

She has enjoyed all the blanks she has received and her brother, Logan, turned 2 pens from the blanks from Edgar but gave one away and lost the other at school before I got any photos.

I am enjoying watching them learn!

Our Internet is out until Tuesday but I wanted to share this photo from my phone.

All great pens, congrats.

That Macrocarpa stabilised blue blank makes some stunning pens and one of the best experiences with them is how easy they are to work with and finish, Macrocarpa wood has a very distinct feel when turned and sanded, the wood accepts the CJ amazingly well and when finished, they increase 500% in their normal/raw weight and makes them one of the nicest blanks to work with.

Enjoy,

Cheers
George
