Here are three slims I made for my older grandkids. They are ages 10, 9 and 7. The first is stabilized and dyed spalted maple on a chrome special buy kit from Smitty. The second is corian on a gun metal special buy kit from Smitty. The third is a segmented mystery wood with red, blue and green plastic strips from old CD cases. It is put on another special buy kit from Smitty, with the screw in nib and mechanism. Interesting kit. The pictures show a mistake at the center band which I will fix before I give the pens to the grandkids.

They look great. Am sure they will be appreciated by the grand kids. Next move is to have them over and have grand dad teach them how to turn one themselves.
