Here is a Sketch pencil with an African blackwood grip section and some of Bill's figured cocbolo with a little malachite and red stone.
It seems like awhile since I posted something. :)

Gosh, you want the truth, well I don't know if I like it or not. Kinda grows on you as you look at it. Wish I could hold it for a minute, as it looks like it might be comfortable. It's interesting indeed!:D

Very interesting, looks like it would be comfortable to hold, and the work is great as is the combination of materials, it should be a keeper for some lucky customer..

Thanks for the comments. I sell a lot of these pencils and keep about 25 in stock.
About half are made with the grip section, people either really like the feel or they don't.
