Recently I had several blow outs. First I changed glues.. I'm going back to the tried and true. three left side blanks Second My first attempt on a herringbone segmentation. I cut the blocks to thick, and then the CA was challenging and several of the 90 degree glue joints were not the best. and third is/was a alumlite fill using skewer sticks stained and then placed into clear alumite. The idea was great but the alumlite just did not get into the smaller cracks.-- leaving severals holes where then sanding took me below the proper level I wanted for the pen surface. The solution is to increase the pressure to the pot.
