Discussed the oops in another thread

Thought I'd post the pic here as well though as it actually didnt come out too badly apart from the barrels being the wrong way around!

Left it natural wood so it can be displayed and dipped in the JD from time to time

Looks okay from here. Probalby will look even better after a few shots.

At one time I made a few pens with scents and found that the scent dissipated with time. Took some renaissance wax and mixed in a little scent, put it in a little jar to go along with the pen to refresh when needed. Perhaps a little JD wax may be in order.

Nice pen, fish think that we are on the wrong side of the ice,( perception )
In all honesty had you not said it was a mistake I ( and I realize I'm no expert )
would not have given it a second thought.
Your mistake looks better than alot of pens that I've done on purpose,
Good job on your innovative thinking and design

Nice idea Bruce, all I need now is some of that wax :) Perhaps I can find something similar this side of the world.
Thanks for the idea

Thanks for that :)

Those that turn a lot of cigars would notice the barrels are wrong way round - other than that it looks OK
