Jim you did a very nice job, snakewood is a beautiful wood. Your photography isn't all that bad, in fact your pics look pretty good. I've seen a lot that were much worse than these. Darick's snakewood is the only SW that I have purchased that has not cracked on me. I've turned two pens with it so far and no cracks. They have lasted far longer than any other SW pens that I have made in the past.
