I am in the process of 'soaking' [:D]a closed end pen in some CA to try my luck at preventing the inevitable crack that this wood is so prone to experience.

Your pen looks excellent. Keep turning out the great work.

Has anyone had a thicker walled pen like the Euro crack with snakewood ? I figured it was just the thin walled like the Statesman that cracked.I did try to get it very smooth this time before I polished it.Its pretty slick :) CA glue finish with some modification to the process.Dont use BLO that much really once or twice.Cant tell that it does anything really.Wet sanded with 320 W/D sand paper then used the MM up to the grey one. Polished with the liquid plastic polish.thanks for all the comments.
