First time trying this wood, mostly due to how expensive it is and I really didn't want to have an expensive mess up. This was donated to my father-in-law, who turns bowls, by a gentleman who is allergic to the wood. I was more than happy to take it and give it a try.
The wood was very dry and cracking a bit, so turning had my heart stopping a few times when larger chunks would fly off, but overall, very happy with how it turned out. The kit is a PSI satin gold funline, and finished with a coat of BLO and two coats of Myland's. Thanks for looking! C&C welcome.

What I can see looks good, Michael.
Could you please try to get closer on the photograph, and a bit better illumination.
That way we might be able to see your Pen in all its Glory.
Brian.
