A Smokin' Franklin Cigar

Purchase some Franklin blanks from Bruce 119 a while back. Finally got the courage to turn one. Everything I have touched lately in acrylics has blown up, so I was a little nervous.

I think the jinx is broken. This came out fantastic !! Turned and polished up fantastic. I am extremely happy with everything about this one.

those are just gorgeous. love that look. are those $100 bill copies on tube with clear cast. I'm sure he didn't put a real c-note in the pen did he.

Ironically, I made this pen Wednesday night and on Thursday I had my first $100 sale for a single pen. Maybe this pen broght me good luck....anyone got a $1000 bill pen blank???
