Smokey Pearl Stout Custom FP

I spent quite a few hours on this one. In fact, I spent a few days on another attempt, which I won't post. I took some good advice from a fellow pen maker and then went to work on this one. Comments appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Polished steel #6 Meisternib (Jowo)

Below: This clip comes from a Polaris and is rhodium plated. $6.95 from PSI for the kit.

Below: The barrel to cap threads are BIG--16 x 1, but they're very smooth. BIG was necessary for the stout shape.

Below: It looks like an exposed clip ring or a band, but it's not. The material is transparent enough so that the clip ring shows through.

Below: The section is very thin at the waist.

Below: The blank is called Gray-Black Pearl and comes from Ed and Dawn at Exotic Blanks.

I like it! Looks like it would handle for people who have bigger hands. I also like how you set the threads back for the cap and tapered into the section. Well Done!

Thanks, Mike, it's 12 mm, which is it's widest point.
